Weak, Wet and Woke

“So, this new guy of yours…” Sarah stumbled into silence, her fingers nervously circling the rim of her coffee cup. A blush spread across her cheeks. The aroma of burnt coffee hung in the air, a counterpoint to the cheerful clatter of customer’s mugs.

“Black, Sarah, you can say it, I’m dating a black guy.” Emily laughed at her friend’s obvious discomfort. “That’s right, I’m dating a big, black guy. He’s big in more than one way, too. You know what they say, it’s true. He’s got a big, black cock!”

Sara’s eyes widened, and she felt her cheeks grow even hotter. Emily had always loved to shock, but even for her this was pretty blunt. She opened her mouth to respond and paused, uncertain what exactly to say.

“OMG, Sarah, you’re not racist, are you?” Emily let out a peal of laughter, and her voice rang out through the coffee shop, making Sarah shrink in her chair.
