Beatriz leaned forward, her blouse tightening across her chest, accentuating the swell of her breasts. “Well, I’m here to see if you’re getting everything you need.” The innuendo seemed so blatant it couldn’t be accidental, but Natalie’s eyes were still drawn to Beatriz chest and that musky, caramel and vanilla scent had drifted across the table. Beatriz’ lips quirked in what might be satisfaction, but she continued without comment. “I know that you’ve been using a different supplier for some time, but I’d like to show you the advantages of switching to my company.”
“I work for Office Essentials and I specialize in servicing small and mid-sized businesses. We offer a complete line of high quality office products at competitive prices, and I can show you a comparison chart of how we compare to your current vendor if you’d like.”
She pulled a glossy trifold brochure from her briefcase and passed it across the desk. Natalie glanced at it quickly, the services were comparable but fending off cold-callers was supposed to be part of Jackie’s job.
“Look… Beatriz?” Natalie tried the name on her lips for the first time. “I don’t want to waste your time,” She said, trying to bring the conversation to a quick end, “I’m sure Office Essentials is an excellent provider, but we are quite happy with our current company and, to be honest, these prices seem a little high.”…
